The Community Safety Advisors Project
aims to reduce the fear of crime among elderly and
vulnerable adults in Co Fermanagh. Volunteers visit
individuals in their own homes on a regular basis.
They often spend some time having a cup of tea and
a chat and can offer practical safety advice and reassurance.
We support volunteers on a on-going basis by providing
specific training for this project, travel expenses
and other assistance. Would you like to become a volunteer
and help someone in your area. (Even half an hour
a week of y our time can improve the quality of a
person’s life.) Are you already providing this
service and would like some support? Are you feeling
vulnerable and would like someone to visit you? If
the answer to any of these questions is yes then we
would like to hear from you. For more information
please contact Martina at Fermanagh Volunteer Centre,
Tel 66328438.
