Easter Sunday

The Resurrection of the Lord

Faith reborn at Easter needs to grow and be nourished by the Eucharist which makes the death and resurrection of Jesus constantly present among us. At Easter we say ‘yes’ again to the central core of our faith. Christ is Risen. No words can explain resurrection, it was only the love of the women who were so close to Jesus, the insight of the beloved disciple and of the trusted Peter, that could experience the empty tomb and realize what had happened. It is in hearts filled with love that faith takes root and flourishes. On Easter Sunday, we pray for a deeper love for the Saviour in our own lives that faith may grow strong and deep, so that our faith may be a consolation and eternal life our hope.
