Reflection - “Peace I
leave with you”
To achieve peace means shutting out of our lives all
that is selfish and greedy, all hatred and bitterness,
and putting in their place forgiveness and the desire
to help others and share with them the good things
of life, just as Jesus taught us in the gospels. The
basis of peace is God. The secret of peace is trust,
but the soul of peace is love which comes from the
love of God, and expresses itself in our love for
each other.
